The Make A Wish Foundation granted Casey a spectacular wish for her dream vacation to Italy. Casey's wish granters organized the entire trip and it was awesome! Thank you Megan, Joanna, Tiffany, and Amy! This was Casey's light at the end of her tunnel.
"I remember when I was sitting in chemo at Children’s Memorial Hospital and thoughts of my future Make-a-Wish trip to Italy eased my mind. In my chemo-induced fog, I dreamt about all the things I wanted to see and do (gelato, gelato, and more gelato!). When the time finally came to board the plane, I was ecstatic! As a send off, my friends came over the night before and tp’d my car. No one has yet confessed to this funny crime."
"My Make A Wish trip to Italy was a trip I’ll never ever forget and it was the perfect storybook ending to my long journey. It was so nice to spend some time with my brother and my parents while being on an exciting new adventure. You made it happen and for that, I am eternally grateful."
